“Ambition is so powerful a passion in the heart, that however high we reach we are never satisfied”
They say it is never called an ambition without passion, and passion without the source of your ambition is impossible. But in politics, it is a different way. Let’s know more about that!
The difference between ambition and passion is that ambition is fed by ego and passion is fed by unconditional love energy. Say you wanted to lead the people, that is your ambition. But if it is your passion to lead and serve to people, you will without hesitation, you will with clean purpose.
Let’s take a closer look to differentiate these two.
What is Ambition
Ambitions are always laden with conditions. Goals are nothing but conditions that one places on their life. Ambitions are about hierarchy.
“It is my ambition to run for presidency, to continue the legacy of my forefathers. To lead and rule my country and to leave a legacy that people will remember.”
Politicians, most of them, ambitions to be lawmakers and leaders. But that doesn’t mean that all of them have the passion to be one. A star cannot be a star without fans, it is the same with a government official cannot be so without the backing of their constituency.
Which is why egos need constant validation and energy in the form of chemical releases in the body and mind; that is your ambition and desires, whether be it good or bad, positive or negative. Your ambitions are and will always be fuel by your ego.
Now, let’s take a look at what passion means.
What is Passion
There is only one thing to describe passion: it is one’s expression of unconditional love and be it service in a political inclined way.
Ambition is that it forever puts us in the future, which, of course, takes us out of the NOW. Passion happens only in the NOW. The ego cannot fully connect with passion because the ego is chemical and
With passion, there is an unlimited supply of energy so emotions and mind-games (unblocked games here) are not necessary to get charges. When doing something out of passion, there are no thoughts of to what hierarchical level it takes us. We are doing it strictly for the feelings and energy derived from doing it in the NOW. We are doing it because doing it keeps that energy flowing. As soon as we start putting conditions on our passion, those passions start turning into ambitions.
